EMT AWARDED CERTIFICATE OF APPRECIATION

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

“CEDAR KNOLLS FIRE DEPARTMENT EMT AWARDED CERTIFICATE OF APPRECIATION FROM MORRIS COUNTY VOCATIONAL SCHOOL DISTRICT.”

Long-time member and Emergency Medical Technician Shirley Bergen received a certificate of appreciation for being a “Partner in Mentoring Students in Career and Technical Education Programs” from the Morris County Vocational School District.
Bergen was recognized by her peers in the Cedar Knolls Fire Department through a letter written by Chief of Department Chad DiGiorgio. Excerpts of the letter read: “MCVSD expresses their gratitude for mentoring Junior EMT Jordan Trigger. Your position as an EMT Crew Chief plays an important role in preparing our EMT candidates for success, not only within our organization, but with their future careers beyond high school and college or other post-secondary endeavors.
Being a mentor is a huge commitment that requires time and effort. I am extremely appreciative of your willingness to invest that time and effort to help mold our current and future members. Please know that you have had a huge impact on the lives of not only Jordan Trigger but Ryan Wilson as well.
On behalf of the Board of Fire Commissioners, I would like to personally thank you for your commitment to your crew as Crew Chief. It is with great pleasure for me to be able to recognize your outstanding performance.”
